Women Together

In line with the new season of growth in our church and the joy of experiencing God at work, the Women's Ministries at Faith Community desires to minister to the whole woman, helping her to be all that God purposes for her to be.  Our prayer is that God's daughters will find their true identity in Christ and will know the fulfillment that comes from serving the Lord Jesus.  We do this by providing opportunities for women to study God's Word, to heal, to serve, to grow, and to have fun together as sisters in Christ.

Bible studies are scheduled on Thursday, both morning and evening.  An occasional "Woman to Woman"  gathering meets for a Bible lesson followed by a time of creativity and friendship.  A special "Women's Group" and "Mom's Group"  meet every month on the first Wednesday 7 to 8:30.  Infant and preschool child care is available during this time.  Pastor Laverne also teaches on a variety of topics during the Sunday School hour, such as leadership for women, restoration, and parenting.

Another ministry of Faith Community is the Victory's Journey Ministry, a small group ministry to hurting hearts.  The purpose of this ministry is to help women be healed of past pain so that they can enjoy the abundant life Jesus died to give them.  It is a six month program that meets weekly.

A highlight of the year is the ladies' retreat.  This year it is scheduled for October 1-3 at Liebenzell near Hackettstown, New Jersey.  Our speakers will be Chris Hill, Melissa Foor, and Pastor Laverne.

Please feel free to call the church for more information on any of the events for ladies.  If you need personal ministry we are here to minister to you because we care.

Women's Ministries—Unlimited! More than you imagined

Our world is changing rapidly, and so are the needs of women. We as Christians must be relevant to those we want to reach. Women's Ministries—Unlimited! emphasizes the unlimited opportunities open to women for ministry in their local churches and communities. Every woman should be ministered to according to her need, and every born-again woman should be encouraged to find her place of ministry within the body of Christ. More.
